Steve and Agatha Luczo originally approached us about Bona Furtuna, their emerging culinary brand rooted in ingredients sourced directly from their Sicilian property in the hills near Corleone.
But early in the process, it became clear the bigger opportunity wasn’t just the products themselves, it was the land, philosophy, and ecosystem surrounding them.
Our recommendation was to first establish the property, La Furtuna Estate as the parent brand and strategic foundation for everything that would follow.
The estate itself became the connective tissue across culinary, skincare, wellness, hospitality, and future lifestyle extensions, creating a more scalable and cohesive long-term platform.
Together with Joseph Mazzaferro, Executive Creative Director, and Woody Wright, Account Director, our team helped shape the broader positioning, architecture, visual world, storytelling system, and launch direction for the expanding ecosystem.
What made the project especially compelling was the authenticity behind it. The estate existed. The ingredients existed. The philosophy existed.
Nothing about the story needed to be manufactured.
From there, the ecosystem naturally expanded into Bona Furtuna, a modern Sicilian culinary and lifestyle brand, and Furtuna Skin, a luxury skincare platform rooted in wild botanicals, efficacy, and modern beauty science.
The result was a connected luxury platform where provenance, wellness, beauty, food, and lifestyle all traced back to a single authentic source.
